SAVING THE JAVAN RHINOS

In early 2023, OFORA and SAFE worldwide, one of conservation partners, conducted a survey of the Langkap removing site in the peninsula area of Ujungkulon National Park Indonesia.
This project is an ecosytem restoration program, because in a location dominated by Langkap (Arengaobtusifolia) the javan rhino`s food plants can not grow. We have doing this project since last year and of course very happy that the site inspection found traces of the javan rhino, this means that the javan rhino`s food plants have started to grow, also supported by the result of video trap camera capturing 3 individual javan rhinos.
